FISH TACOS, Paleo Primal Low Carb

This recipe came from the cookbook Primal Comfort Foods. The tortillas came out a little eggy tasting when think but once I got the technique of the thin tortillas they tasted great! It may take time to learn the technique of how to get them thin but the pleasure of eating tortillas on Primal is sooo worth the time.

This plus the Les Mills Body Pump has been so amazing! Im super excited to join the two of them together to get the fantastic toned results that I wanted.

GREEK CHICKEN PITA’S:

This recipe came from the cookbook from Chalean Extreme workout program. I’m loving her recipes. I never enjoyed cooking so much until I started cooking healthy and getting out of my comfort zone of the same foods.

The Pita’s were totally something different for me to cook. I had ordered them many times at restaurants but I never put the time into creating a healthier version at home till now. With using the whole grain pita bread and the fat free feta with lean chicken breast I was able to control the complex carbs while keeping my fat content low. Nice!

Overall the chicken needed to be seasoned more. Next time I will do a salt, pepper and spice rub on it first before barbecuing. Also the tzatziki seasonings I bought didn’t taste so good. I think ill try a different kind next time. Yet I must say that the rating of 8 staying solid simply because its an unusual dish for me to cook and that made it far more pleasing to my palette.
